Employees from Sonovion collected and prepared backpacks and school supplies to distribute to local students impacted by homelessness.

There are many ways you can get involved as a family, group, school or as an individual or business to support our kids.  Join our efforts to level the educational playing field for children and teens facing the hardship and disruption of homelessness.

Event Volunteers

Volunteer for one of our many events that help support students impacted by homelessness.  Check out the events from the home page: Falmouth Road Race (August), our annual Open the Door Gala (November), Outrunning Homelessness (April) or 100 Families Challenge (June).

SCHOOL ON WHEELS CLUB

Students can join together and make a difference in the lives of peers impacted by homelessness by forming a School on Wheels Club at their school. SOWMA Clubs coordinate school supply drives, car washes, and other fundraisers to support the services we provide to our students.  SOWMA Club leaders gain valuable leadership, philanthropic and team building skills.  Kids Helping Kids!  Now that makes our hearts smile!

TUTOR OR MENTOR

We are always looking for caring role models to tutor students in grades K - 12 and help with homework and school projects.  By donating one hour a week, the life you change could be your own.  Our high school and college mentors help students with academics, post-secondary educational planning and transitions. Learn more here.
