Individuals & Families

There are many ways you can get involved as a family, as a group, or as an individual to support our kids!

Community Service Day

Make an appointment to visit our East Bridgewater headquarters to learn more about family homelessness in our state. Participate in important projects such as preparing backpacks for children of all ages and sorting and organizing book donations.  Get your family, school, place of worship or business involved and help pay forward the gift of education!

School Supply Donations

Set up a school supply drive at your school, business, civic organization, library or place of worship. Ask your family, friends, and co-workers to help collect new backpacks, books, and school supplies to provide the necessary supplies students need for school. Click here to see what supplies we currently need. All items donated must be new.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Projects

SOWMA provides community service opportunities and works with the student to create giving options for guests to get involved with their mitzvah project. In the interest of Tikkun Olam, the students learn about family homelessness and how their support makes the world a better place.

Birthday/Giving Party

It's a party that keeps giving. Looking for a new way to celebrate your special day? Why not ask guests to contribute a monetary donation, backpack, school supply, or book in place of a gift. Holiday parties are another great time to pay it forward for children in your community.
