I was born in a refugee camp in Thailand and moved here about 14 years ago. I grew up in poverty so being able to give back to my community is something I really enjoy doing. Coming to America was challenging, however many wonderful organizations and individuals supported us as we acclimated to our new home. I am beyond thrilled to join SOWMA to give back to our community in Lowell. I am fluent in Karen, the language of spoken in lower Myanmar (Burma) and on the borders of Thailand.
