The 100 Families Challenge is our annual spring outreach to support the educational needs of our students. By raising $100 in creative ways, families and individuals share in the joy in providing one-on-one tutoring, customized backpacks and school supplies and college assistance to children, teens and young adults impacted by homelessness.
Our 100 Families Challenge is generously matched up to $10,000 by Claudia and Jay Weed and Family. The Weeds are longtime supporters of our mission and their generosity is a testament to their unwavering belief in the role education plays in stopping the cycle of poverty.
Every Dollar Donated Will Be Doubled from May 1 - June 30, 2017:
$5 becomes $10
$100 becomes $200
$10,000 becomes $20,000 for our kids' education!
Every dollar raised, up to $10,000, by June 30, 2017 will be matched by The Weed Family.
A special message from our generous donors, Claudia and Jay Weed:
It has been our honor to support School on Wheels for the past thirteen years. Investing in education is the wisest and most fulfilling action we can take. We have seen first hand how effective the one-on-one tutoring program is as we have marveled over the countless heartwarming success stories. When we donate to School on Wheels we are 100% certain that every cent will be used thoughtfully and effectively to make a beautiful, lasting improvement in the lives of children. It just doesn’t get any better than that.
